Believe! We are a non-denomination Christian micro school which welcomes families of different faiths. A micro school offers the benefits of a small, intimate home school like setting delivered by a professional teacher. We believe all children are gifted and have something important to share with the world. It is our responsibility to help them discover and nurture those gifts.
Achieve! The students at Inspira demonstrate growth far beyond what would be considered their grade level. We do this by providing memorable events and joyful learning opportunities that not only extend the mind but touch the heart. We guide children on their learning adventure with dynamic assessment, fine art, music and hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Science) activities. Instruction is crafted to meet your child’s unique needs and abilities! Children get the opportunity to team up with friends of different ages to celebrate the joy of learning in a warm, caring environment.

Services
Multi-Age K-5 Instruction, Tutoring, Summer Programs & Fine Art Classes on Fridays
A cosy historic adobe, schoolhouse nestled in Old Town Albuquerque is where your child will be encouraged to explore the world and discover their place in it. We offer k-5 instruction as well as tutoring services. We offer fine art, science, music and drama programs that bring out the star in your child! Your child will become proficient in the use of technology and will use that proficiency to grow in all other areas.
A Differentiated Approach to Learning
Shouldn't your child's education be as unique and individual as they are? A talented, professional educator will assess your child and craft a learning experience superior to the "one size fits all" offerings of traditional school. Your child won't be limited to learning a stock curriculum just because of their birthdate. Children will be given the tools to soar based on their interests and abilities. Ongoing dynamic, individual assessment will give a more accurate perspective of your child's growth and help set learning goals for the future that make sense rather then simply check boxes.

Our goal is for your child to not just survive their education but to thrive! With that in mind, we have created a learning community where your child will partner with children of different ages and abilities to conquer project based learning challenges in a fun, supportive atmosphere. While doing this, they will develop the 4 Cs of 21st Century Skills: Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication and Collaboration. These key competencies have been identified on the basis that they make a measurable contribution to educational attainment, relationships, employment, health and well being outcomes.
We take a very experiential hands-on approach to learning where children go on frequent field trips and interact with their world in real and meaningful ways.
A Breath of Fresh Air for You and Your Child
Students develop an appreciation for the natural world, art, music, performance and technology. Students at Inspira grew an average of two grade levels at a time when other students throughout the world were struggling due to school shutdowns. We were able to switch from an online to in-person platform with fluidity, precision and quality. Students also remained connected to their peers and teachers in a safe and developmentally appropriate manner. Our family approach to learning encourages children of different ages to learn together collaboratively. Rather than being cooped up inside all day, we spend the majority of the day outside enjoying fresh air, sunshine and the freedom to move around and explore our physical environment. We develop a hands-on appreciation for the natural world by actually getting outside and exploring!

With over twenty two years of teaching experience ranging from preschool all the way to adults, I'm ready to guide your child on their learning adventure! I believe every child is gifted and has something special to share with the world! It is the honor and responsibility of educators to assist in the joyous discovery of that gift! I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with a purpose, and always striving for significant outcomes. When you work with me you should expect a collaboration with transparency, caring, consistency and a whole lot of fun! I loved to listen and zone off into the imaginary world while you read. Being read to like you did, helped my imagination and creativity. Today, I am finishing two novels that I plan to get published. Without the help of seeing the creativity in myself and literature as you expressed it to us, I would not be in the place I am today. Through your plays, you taught me how to be a public speaker and express myself. That is a skill that will carry me through my life and career and help me to be a productive member of society.
